Matthew Simon graduated with Honors from St. John's University in Queens, New York. He obtained admission to the Criminal Justice, Golden Key and Gamma Sigma Alpha Honor Societies while working 40 hours/week to pay for school.
After college, Matthew graduated in the top 1/3 of his class from Hofstra Law School. While in law school, Mr. Simon worked with the New York County District Attorney's Office and participated in the Hofstra Child Advocacy Clinic.
Since joining the firm in January, 2005, Mr. Simon has continually exhibited diligence, zeal and execution while engaged in regular client contact, discovery, depositions, motion practice, arbitrations, and oral argument. Mr. Simon has also successfully written and argued summary judgment motions in multiple venues.
Recreationally, Matthew trains in the martial art of judo and has obtained the rank of "Nidan," second degree black belt. He continues to train and instruct children in the sport of judo and also enjoys playing softball, flag football, pinochle and chess socially.
